How do I embed a Hush Secure Form into my website?

Step 1. Accessing Hush Secure Forms

First things first, sign in to your Hushmail account in webmail and find the menu icon in the top right corner.

Choose Go to Hush Secure Forms from the drop down menu options, as shown here:

Note: You can also log in to your account (using your Hushmail email address and passphrase) on this Hush Secure Forms login page.

Either one of these login options will take you to the page where you’ll find all of your Hush Secure Forms.

Step 2. Finding your form’s embed code

In your main Hush Secure Forms dashboard, find the triple-dot icon to the right of the form you wish to embed in your website.

Click on that icon and you’ll be given the option to choose Embed secure form, as shown here:

Then, if you click that option, you’ll see a new popup window appear containing an embed code.

Under the actual embed code box, you can choose to change your form’s background color from White to Transparent, as shown here:

This is only necessary if your current forms have a colored background or if your web pages use a textured/colored background as opposed to a standard white page background.

Once you have set the Background option accordingly, you can then copy the embed code provided in the gray box to add it to your website:

Adding the embed code to your web page

This is the best part – are you ready?

Since your Brighter Vision website package comes with unlimited support, all you need to do is send our Support Team an email at support@brightervision.com with your form’s embed code and let us know which page of your website you’d like it to be on. Then poof, it’s magically taken care of for you!

Send Us Your Form’s Embed Code

Can’t I do it myself?

Of course you can! For those of you who like to be more hands-on, here’s how you can add your Hush Secure Form’s embed code to your page all on your own:

First, log in to your website’s dashboard by opening a new browser tab and typing your your website’s URL followed by /wp-admin/

For example, if your website’s URL is https://amazingtherapist.com, your website’s login page will be https://amazingtherapist.com/wp-admin/

Find and click on the Pages tab in the black and white toolbar on the lefthand side of your WordPress dashboard, as shown here:

Find and click on the page title for the web page you’d like to add your Hush Secure Form to. For example, if your new form needs to be added to your Contact page, click Contact, as shown here:

This will open up your Contact page in the page editor and you will likely start out in either the Visual editing tab or the Text but you’ll want to click the Page Builder tab to switch over to this page style, as shown here:

If you do not see the option to switch over to the Page Builder tab as shown above, please email our Support Team at support@brightervision.com to let us know and we will get this taken care of for you right away.

Click the blue OK button in the confirmation popup window that appears at the top of your page editor:

Your content section of the page editor should now look something like this:

Hover your mouse over the upper right corner of the SiteOrigin Editor box and click the Duplicate link text, as shown here:

This just made an exact copy of the content that is currently on this page.

Now you need to edit the content in each of these SiteOrigin Editor boxes so that one contains all of the page content except the new form’s HTML embed code and the other contains only the Hush Secure Form’s code.

Once again, hover your mouse over the upper right corner of the first SiteOrigin Editor box and click the Edit link text, as shown here:

At the very bottom of the content editor screen that pops up, find and delete the entire line of text containing wpforms id including the square brackets at the beginning and end, then click the blue Done button in the lower right corner, as shown here:

Note: Your specific wpforms code snippet may use a different number than what is shown above. This is normal. Please delete the entire line of text from one square bracket to the other so that the content in this box ends at “as soon as possible.” in the line above.

Next, hover your mouse over the upper right corner of the second SiteOrigin Editor box and click the Edit link text, as shown here:

This time, you will need to switch over to the Text editor tab, then delete all of the text currently in the box, as shown here:

This is where you will now paste your Hush Secure Forms HTML embed code then click the blue Done button in the lower right corner, as shown here:

Finally, back on the main page editor screen, click the blue Update button on the right side of the page to save your changes, as shown here:
