Note: This tutorial is only applicable for Brighter Vision’s Paris, Denver, and Playful themes. These instructions may vary if your website is on a different theme.

1. Log in to your website’s WordPress dashboard.

2. Navigate to your website’s Homepage in your browser, then click this ‘Edit Page’ link:
3. This will open up the Page Editor where you will be able to edit the main content sections of your Homepage.
These are the homepage content sections you’re able to edit from the Page Editor:
Note: These instructions will only show you how to edit the two content sections shown in the image above. To edit other elements of your homepage, please refer to one of the following help pages:
4. Next, use the following instructions to make your desired edits:
Homepage Content Section 1
To edit the image on the left side of homepage content section 1, hover over the ‘Portrait Image’ box in the page editor and click the ‘Edit’ link that appears:
In the portrait image editor, click this ‘Choose Media’ button to replace the photo:
You will then be given the opportunity to select another image from your Media Library, or you can upload a new image by clicking this tab:
Once you’ve selected your new portrait image, click this blue ‘Set Media’ button:
Finally, click this blue ‘Done’ button to save the new image to section 1 of your homepage:
Note: The recommended size for the portrait image on your homepage is 533 pixels wide x 800 pixels tall.
To edit the text on the right side of homepage content section 1, hover over the ‘Welcome Content Area’ box in the page editor and click the ‘Edit’ link that appears:
Make sure you are working from the ‘Visual’ editor by clicking this tab:
To remove the ‘homequote’ from this section of your homepage, simply highlight and delete it from this box:
Edit any of the paragraph text displayed below the ‘homequote’ in this section just like you would a Word document or the body of an email:
Edit the text in the button that is displayed at the bottom of this section:
Change the page this button is linking to by clicking this small edit icon:
…then copy/paste the URL for the new page you’d like this button linking to here and click this blue button:
When you’re finished editing section 1 of your homepage, click this blue ‘Done’ button:
Homepage Content Section 2
To edit the content in section 2 of your homepage, hover over the ‘Second Content Section’ box in the page editor and click the ‘Edit’ link that appears:
Make sure you are working from the ‘Visual’ editor by clicking this tab:
Edit the text within this section just like you would a Word document or the body of an email:
Edit the text in either of the buttons that are displayed at the bottom of this section:
Change the page a button is linking to by clicking on its text and then clicking this small edit icon:
…then copy/paste the URL for the new page you’d like this button linking to here and click this blue button:
When you’re finished editing section 2 of your homepage, click this blue ‘Done’ button:
6. When you’ve finished editing the content sections of your homepage, click this blue ‘Update’ button to save your changes:
